Taking the day off… for you

Previously on WhatWouldWesleyDo: Insight from the music industry

So I won’t put out any new content today… at least for now. There isn’t a shortage of things going on to blog about… with the governor scandal in South Carolina,  T.O. getting T.O.’ed, Shaq going to the Cavs and all the other stuff I have been trying to post for ever and I still haven’t talked about the Penguins or Kobe winning titles… but I’m going to take a step back and do a couple of blogger referrals today, for now.

Actually… one thing skip to 4:21 to get to the good stuff:

WOW. SMH at Lousiana and I will come back to this.

First is ForeverFatty by Fatimah Shalash. She is a self-proclaimed “20 something Muslim gal just taking things one day at a time!” and while I’m not sure what about her statement is disputable, I just felt like typing self proclaimed. She has been blogging on this particular sight for a little while and now I think it’s time to share. I appreciate honest, real blogging and that’s what she gives. Often times people look at issues with a closed mind without any perspective. I like to think she has better perspective that 99% of the population. So visit and be nice. If you don’t, we will have problems comprende? 🙂

The next is Brick by Brick, Block by Block, by Richard Becker. Richard is one of those people you need to know to really get why the world isn’t as bad as it seems. As a middle class white guy from Indiana, he isn’t you would typcially expect to be sure, as he has a real grasp on the realities of the world, merged with a desire to do his part to make those realities better for everyone. If you are a reader/writer, you’ll find his new blog very interesting, and occasionally he may tell you some stories from his time as an Obama staffer in Ohio.

My roommate Tarik Patrick Nally, operates his blog at TarikLight… I have no idea what it means. If you want to keep up with the latest music and entertainment stuff, go there. He also covers some news, sports, commercials and anything that is relevant really. Mr. Nally is an aspiring artist himself and he’s pretty good, so if you know anybody that know’s anybody, holla at ya boy (who still says that), but if not just read and enjoy.

Please visit these blogs!

Oh. One of my favorite blogs, Gabrieloneverything by Tarrman himself (now known as the Tarrminator) will be up and running soon so check out for that link soon too!
