The break-up of the century

Previously on WhatWouldWesleyDo: A little randomness for your viewing pleasure

Today I’ma drop a few quick hitters, so stay on top of the blog and make sure you subscribe to the RSS feed. Oh and follow me on Twitter.

This story absolutely kills me. Your neighborhood Dallas Cowboys quarterback, Tony Romo, and oddly famous singer, now ex-girlfriend Jessica Simpson broke up a little while back.

^^^^ No more happy couple.

Even though I don’t particularly care for either of their celebrity status, I never want to see a break up. Except when it yields results like this:

“RED ALERT!!! TONY ROMO HAS MADE SOME CHANGES TO HIS LIST OF PEOPLE ALLOWED IN….JESSICA IS NO LONGER ON THE LIST AND NOT APPROVED FOR ACCESS.”

Here is the text version of the story, for you literate readers. Wha… ?

That might be the funniest break up story ever, well the funniest story ever where no on was actually harmed or dragged through the mud. I’ve endured some bad splits, just like the rest of you and we all know being on the bad end of a break up is never good. but, I don’t necessarily blame Romo, after all Jessica planned to have a Barbie themed birthday party… for her 29th birthday. I mean, there’s nothing wrong with a grown woman having a Barbie themed party is there?

There’s certain etiquette you follow when you break up, you know, the do’s and don’ts. The way people are these days, sometimes you have to safeguard yourself from their craziness. You may have to block their phone number, delete them as a friend on facebook, change your locks, or put up a sign to let your ex and anyone else that may need to know aware of the fact that the ex is no longer welcome. This may be a PR move to sort of make Romo out to be this cold tough guy, that won’t put up with Barbies and crazy ex-girlfriends or he genuinely might just want to let her know she isn’t welcome.

If I were to think of an analogy…

Jessica is Ramon Sessions, Tony Romo is LeBron and the ball is their relationship.

Salute
