So the school I attend, the University of Kentucky, lost in the Elite-8 to West Virginia.

Tough loss. Even as a North Carolina fan, I felt bad. Sort of.

So what happened was a terrible experiment that should never be attempted again. I was working on this column about how the NBA’s collective bargaining agreement is about to expire and use it as an opportunity to hate on David Stern and his regime that got rid of my Sonics… except with the UK loss and having guys that are going pro, I decided to tie the two things together.

Massive fail, but hey failure is the first step to success, or something:
